Video Specialist
A Video Specialist is an excellent entry-level position for one looking to get a start in the video production industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Editing projects in Adobe Premier and After Effects
- Giving input and feedback on video projects
- Assisting in video shoots on location or in studio
- Assisting in producing and organizing live events and video productions
- Working with Project Managers, Account Managers and the Creative Team to produce and edit projects
- Assisting with maintenance of equipment and studio
- Learning to work with clients and effectively incorporate their feedback
- Gaining an understanding of budgets, timelines, and our project and time management tools/softwares
- Continuously staying connected with current video trends
- Effectively multi-tasking to manage multiple projects at one time while maintaining meticulous attention to the detail
- Participating in exciting business travel (10%)
Position Requirements:
We are looking for an extremely organized professional with a cohesive education and some professional experience in shooting, lighting and editing video.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Communications or Video Production (or equivalent) and 1-3 years of experience in video production. A demo reel must be submitted for review.
Candidate must have proven experience in the Adobe suite, including Premiere-Pro, After Effects and Photoshop. Experience in Illustrator is a plus. Experience in 3-D and other software programs is also helpful.
First Generation will only accept candidates within a 50 miles radius of Allentown, PA.
