First Generation, an established integrated marketing communications company in Lehigh Valley, PA, is searching for a full-time – Agency Project Manager and Social Media Administrator  – to join our team!

First Generation (FG), an established integrated marketing agency, is looking for a detail-oriented, full-time Project Manager and Social Media Administrator to help execute projects, campaigns, and live events for our clients. 

The selected candidate should have some knowledge of agency services, ideally including live events, video production, print and graphic design, and social media marketing. 

Project managers are the glue that keep projects and people together. They are responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and executing a variety of projects from beginning to end. At FG, your projects will range from national live events, print design, and video production to web-based projects and the management of internal social media. 

This professional will work under the direction of account managers from whom they will collect, or help collect, all necessary project information, i.e., deadlines, objectives, budget, etc. They will also work cross-functionally with team members to assign tasks and create and manage detailed project schedules as well as coordinate with outside resources to estimate/quote jobs, coordinate/deliver files and help manage the overall quality of the finished product. We are looking for someone with a motivating work ethic and analytical mindset, able to effectively add value to the project workflow/process. 

They will also be responsible for client communication for projects and updates, and they will serve as the point person on projects while acting as both the client and agency advocate. They need to demonstrate the confidence to move projects forward collaboratively. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the workflow (internal and external) of all assigned projects 
  • Assist in producing live events and video 
  • Manage creative briefings/meetings 
  • Develop and adhere to project milestones 
  • Keep the team informed of progress & developments 
  • Interact with the client for project approvals and communications 
  • Professionally and proficiently communicate with team members so they can effectively complete their tasks 
  • Brainstorm, research, and write social media content for the company in conjunction with the Creative Department 
  • Develop actionable social media plans as well as plans for related marketing initiatives 
  • Implement new,exciting strategies to take company social media accounts to a new level 
  • Photoshop and design knowledge also a plus!

As Associate Account Manager this candidate will get the opportunity to manage selected accounts directly, creating a trusted relationship with the client 



Thorough experience with Microsoft Office 365 – especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint 

Up to 3 years of project coordination, or a related role, assisting in events and social media assistance preferably in an agency setting 

Background in meeting planning, production of live events and video is a big plus! 

Experience with Web/Advantage and Monday’s software a plus but not required 



Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or related disciplines 

Exciting business travel – 10% – When assisting in national live events
